I am very excited show off the very first 3D stone statue for Curvy Shrine! Below is a render of a test with a 3D model of a Big Beautiful Woman, with in the background the Sanctum (the circular building you often see the interior of in the website header).
Ever since I came up with the idea for a shrine about curvy women I have thought of placing stone statues around it, and wax models to theme the chambers of the Sanctum. I can now finally do this, as the technology for it has become mainstream and easy to use.
There hasn’t been much progress on the 3D model in the last year or so. I space my time so that I can focus on one thing, then the next. In the past year it’s been mostly the videos. Currently I’m focusing on the website. In a few months I want continue the 3D modeling.
The Curvy Shrine project is huge. I have envisioned a website with a story line, about discrimination, admiration, community, and activism. It’s also a graphical adventure, where you can wander around and just relax in the garden, look at statues, explore the shrine.
Sometimes I feel like spending a few weeks on a comprehensive demo, like an extension to the information currently available on the About page. But then I think that the more time I spend on making content, the sooner the actual project will be completed.
Let me know what you guys think in the comments!
Note: The lady that the stone statue was created from wishes to remain anonymous.
